Well, bummer. Mirage is not pregnant this time around. It was a fifty-fifty shot; due to some spacing on the part of the vet, we were unable to have a timely brucellosis result and ended up not getting to breed Mirage until about twelve to sixteen hours after she ovulated, which led to a questionable experience (well, she and Argos had fun) and no puppies this time around. However, having switched providers and having a better grasp on the state of things today with all the delays and supply issues, we'll be having the brucellosis testing done a week ahead of time next cycle and that means we're looking at (potentially) a litter in late Fall / early Winter, 2022 with Mirage and Argos.
In the MEANTIME, now we get to decide if we're going to do any summer shows, or if we're going to work on FastCAT and Rally. Sierra will be going to the Burbank show on Friday the 24th of June, but Mirage and Riley are taking the summer off thus far. While Mark heals, we're still working on learning some new tricks and once he's able to move around better, we'll most likely take the dogs camping with us for a long weekend or so. But having Mirage delay her litter is fine, it just means adjusting on my part for shows going through the Autumn and into Winter.
