Sierra is now entered in these two shows at the Lake Perris State Recreation Area, where we'll also be camping and Mark will be squeezing in a little kayaking time. Sierra will be in the 12 - 18 month puppy class so please come out and see us, see how we're doing.

As of 10/19/2022 Mirage is due to be bred to Argos on Friday - Sunday October 21-23, 2023 and we just can't wait! It might mean Christmas Day puppies, but we'll take what we can get with this much-anticipated litter.

On a personal note:
While this page is all about our mission as advocates of Canaan Dogs and Heritage Canaan Dogs in particular, it sits on my heart to bring attention to the horrors going on in Iran, where women in particular are being subjugated and murdered under the Mullahs, a tragedy that affects the entire world and in no way represents the gentle people of Iran. AKC really puts on a nice show with booths for all the breeds available (attendance at each event varies as it's all volunteer) and plenty of activities and demonstrations throughout the weekend. Last year we attended with Riley and were joined by April Gray and her son Xavier and their lovely girl Denali, who just had a litter of very fine puppies. We are available throughout the day to answer questions and so everyone can meet and greet a real Canaan Dog in person and, we even have a red carpet for those wishing to take a photo with one of our pups!
